On a chilly winter day, we enjoyed a memorable walking tour of Athens, guided by the knowledgeable Angelique Mansola. Despite the cold, her insightful commentary brought the city’s rich history to life.
Our journey began at the Metropolis of Athens and continued through Mitropoleos Street, Eolou Street, and the Ag. Irini Church. We explored Monastiraki, the Iridanos River, Areos Street, and Hadrian’s Library, learning about Athens’ ancient Roman past. We also visited Adrianou Street, the Roman Agora, and Tripodon Street, ending at Kydathineon Street.
Angelique’s expertise made the tour both informative and enjoyable, deepening our understanding of this fascinating city.
